Baking RiskWeb into RiskPro Assistant

RiskWeb was originally created using Microsoft’s Silverlight technology. In August 2022, we released the integrated version of RiskWeb within RiskPro Assistant using the latest industry standard and secure framework for Microsoft apps. Users can now upload and validate spreadsheets into RiskWeb, directly from RiskPro Assistant. The Report Designer and Report Viewer facilities will be released within an upcoming update, along with the ability to upload spreadsheets to RiskWeb via the RiskPro plugin for Microsoft Excel.

Incorporating Microsoft’s MFA technology across DataPro products

As of August 2022, if your organisation has adopted the Microsoft Cloud Active Directory, RiskPro can now be configured to require users to authenticate using their Microsoft account credentials across apps such as RiskPro Assistant and the RiskPro Microsoft Office plugins. System administrators can enforce multi-factor authentication in addition to the username and password authentication method.

Introducing Claims functionality into Workflow Assistant

If your organization has adopted the Workflow Assistant solution, the facility now caters for claim workloads as of August 2022. Once a claim has been created within RiskPro, the user is presented with the available claim workflow templates to select for the claim. Once a template has been selected, a workflow will be created for the claim within Workflow Assistant. Claim users can toggle between viewing open / closed claims within Workflow Assistant, along with viewing claim workloads via the Workflow dashboard widget.

Integrating sanction screening with FinScan

DataPro worked with FinScan to develop a fully integrated sanction screening process within RiskPro. In July 2022, we made this functionality available to organisations using FinScan for sanction screening.

Once an Insured account has been entered against the quote or risk, a real-time sanction screening is performed against the Insured(s), along with the market. If a potential match has been found for an individual or organisation, a notification is sent via RiskPro to the Compliance department. Additionally, the account within RiskPro is locked until the Compliance department has deemed the potential match to be safe. The Compliance department can then review the compliance record to confirm the hit, or mark as safe via the FinScan dashboard widget with RiskPro Assistant. Find

Delivering electronic placement with Whitespace

As of June 2022, DataPro customers can link their Whitespace account within RiskPro Assistant. Once the account has been linked, users can create Whitespace electronic contracts (Slips) using RiskPro system data. Whitespace contracts can contain data ‘tags’ using RiskPro data, which will form the Core Data Record (CDR), as defined by Lloyds of London’s Blue Print Two.

Whitespace electronic contracts can be created within the RiskPro DMS, just like creating a regular Word format Slip. Once a Whitespace contract has been created via RiskPro, the Slip will appear as a file within the RiskPro DMS. The electronic contract can be accessed within RiskPro, including making modifications to the document and completing the entire quote to bind process without leaving RiskPro.

Once the electronic contract is ready to be sent to the Client using your bespoke documentation templates within RiskPro, the electronic contract data can be merged into your custom templates and sent to the Client with a click of a button, without the copying, pasting and reformatting.

Brokers can conversate with Underwriters via the integration, including receiving real time desktop notifications from RiskPro of any movements and notifications via Whitespace. Additionally, attachments that are stored within the RiskPro DMS can easily be sent to Whitespace Underwriters directly from RiskPro.

The next major release of the Whitespace integration within RiskPro will allow for a deeper data relationship between the Whitespace platform and RiskPro, including populating a RiskPro market against a risk using Whitespace signing data and uploading spreadsheet data (bordereaux) to Whitespace via Microsoft Excel.

RiskPro Microsoft Office Plugin Update

In March 2022, RiskPro Microsoft Office plugins received over the air updates for Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. The update contained a refreshed look for the plugins which reflects a modern Windows 11 theme with accent colours relating to the Microsoft Office app. The plugin user controls were redesigned and now provides a faster UI load time experience. We replaced the pre-existing SFTP method of uploading files back to RiskPro from a Microsoft app with the latest industry standard of HTTPS.

RiskPro Assistant Dashboard

In February 2022, DataPro released the RiskPro Assistant Dashboard functionality to customers. This update allows users to easily view information such as CLASS Responses, active workloads via Workflow Assistant, favourite (pin) risks and folders for quick access, risk activity, recent risks and documents, dashboard reports, switch company / system via the widget and view live vessel tracking data via the IHS widget.
